do you get a group certificate from centrelink, i get this family tax benifit thingy? about 200 bucks a fortnight or so?

been waiting on one, to do my tax, and nothings come through, anybody shed some light on this, i could go to centrestink but id be their for hours..

It's not taxed so you would not get a Payment Summary (the name for Group Certificates since GST came in).

From memory, there's a place on the Tax Return you can claim Family Tax Benefit if you haven't already been getting it fortnightly.

But it's not like a pension - you don't have to include it in your Tax Return as income.
