NEWS from NSW CAG
REMINDER: NSW CAG will be holding consultations around the state in 2008 to hear what consumers and carers think about Community Mental Health Services. Keep watching the E-news for more consultations this year. The first two consultations will be held at:
i. Billabong Clubhouse, 6 Darling St Tamworth on Monday 25th February 2008 from 11am-2.30pm (morning tea served from 10.30am, lunch provided). NEWS from other Organisations
Events (The following events are listed on the NSW CAG website (www.nswcag.org.au) on the ACTIVITIES page under “notices about up-coming mental health events”):
i. 14th Annual Hunter Mental Health Conference. This conference is run by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses Inc Hunter. The theme is: “Curiosity Matters: Improving Recovery through Research”. It will be held on Friday 16th May 2008 at Noahs on the Beach, Newcastle. ii. 6th International Conference on Early Psychosis. This conference will be held from 20-22 October 2008, in Melbourne. A link to a website with more information is available on the NSW CAG website.

Groups and Programs (The following groups and programs are listed on the NSW CAG website (www.nswcag.org.au) on the ACTIVITIES page under “groups and programs”):
i. Central Coast ARAFMI has provided NSW CAG with updated brochures about it’s Family Support Program and Yakkalla Cottage Recreation Programme, which are available on the NSW CAG website.
