Well guys.....what can i say, just a continuation of a unfair and biased system.

i've been an unsatisfied customer of C$A since 1995 with only 23months and 3 days to go. Cheers

The good news is i get to have my day in court Cool Dude with the bastards in a fortnight.

Win, lose or draw......................i can't see how it can be any worse.

I wrote to Jenny Macklin regarding the child support assessment, my situation and how they are not listening. I got a three page form letter back outlining the usual things including how my 2nd family was taken into consideration. What a load of crap.

I have written to Jenny and again I urge you to do the same. Below is a copy of the letter I have written.

Hi Jenny,

I received your response and to be honest I am utterly disappointed. The CSA scheme is nothing more than alomoney at the expense of second families. The fact is my son does not see any of the money. We cannot as we do not have enough and I know his mother is not saving for his education. In your letter you outlined that the calculation method was supposed to keep in mind the costs of second families.

The fact is I am paying a heafty amount of maintenance for a child I get to see twice a year. On top of that I have to pay all other contact related expenses. We do not have ANY money at the end of the month, in fact we are going backwards. The fact of the matter is that the only way for us to survive is for my wife to subsidize our income which means that she cannot be at home to be with our children. All this because we are paying maintenance to another family who earns way more than us!

If the CSA system is so fair then where is the money coming from to support the children from my 2nd marriage? Who is paying me the $10,000 to $15,000 in CSA payments for my 2nd family children? The answer is no one. Fair? How is is this fair?

Your response is pathetic and if you think that this is an appropriate response to this situation I hope that you can take on the responsibility for the pain, suffering that your lack of leadership is causing. Being a politician is about listening and acting accordingly. I know you have many lobby groups outlining recommendations, none of which were taken into consideration for the so called reform. Are you going to listen to them now? Obviously not. I and many other people have given you the evidence to do the right thing. This situation is in your hands but it seems you don't have the back bone to address it. Jenny, you are guttless.

Good luck with your political career. It seems that is all you are interested in and not the people you supposedly represent.

Regards
