Several articles have appeared in todays newspapers with regards to recovery of CS paid for Maternity fraud

Recently heard that a mother found guilty of paternity fraud is obliged to pay back in full the child support paid by the "father".

What if the mother doesn't have enough money? Will the rest be deducted from the mother's share in the property settlement? Unlikely. The FC will take into consideration the hardship the mother will go through. That means, she can still get away with it. Then, what's the point in having this new law?

It's best to have mandatory DNA testing at childbirth. This eliminates paternity fraud.

Yeah, why introduce a law that gives the mother a way out?
